My Family - Mommy's Side

Here's a picture of me with my Nana and Papa and their brood.  My Uncle David is on the left with my Aunt Melissa and my cousins, Isaac and Evelyn.  My Uncle DJ is on the right with my Aunt Michele and my cousins, Chris and Sami.  We all got together back in August to celebrate Evelyn's and Isaac's birthdays.

I'm 11 Months Old!

Whew!  That last month went by fast!  I'm a crawling machine now and I've also started pulling myself up to standing.  There's a whole new world up there off the floor!  I love to express myself both verbally and with body language.  When I'm excited I squeal/shriek and I wiggle my arms and legs and bob up and down.  I have my own special 'words' for kitty and doggy, and when I see my mom or my dad or my brother come into a room I light up like a sparkler.

I think it's fun to roll and wiggle all over the place when someone is trying to change my diaper or put clothes on me.  I enjoy playing with all sorts of toys, but balls are my favorite.  I love to splash in that big bowl that Joie drinks from... until someone tells me "No!"

My First Campout

My family and I drove a couple of hours on Saturday to get to my Great Uncle Steven's property in the Wasatch Mountains above the town of Mount Pleasant.  We joined up with a bunch of other Chards and their families for an afternoon, night and morning of eating, visiting, hiking and all-around fun.  I met a lot of folks for the first time and saw some folks that I already knew.  I think I might have had a little too much fun in the evening hours because about an hour after I went to bed I threw up all over my pack-and-play.  Mommy & Daddy got me cleaned up and let me sleep in between them for the rest of the night.  So warm and cozy!  I hope we get to go camping again soon.
